Nothing major to report today at all.  It's just been a nice day (and it's only 2:30).  I helped out in Alex's class this morning and I was the official fryer....oh my goodness, I fried up so many mini elephant ears (made with biscuit dough...very easy) for all of the kids and teachers.  I smell like the inside of a deep fryer...on my hair and clothes.  I really should shower and change, but I've got other things to do.  Plus I'm thinking the smell might be a turn on to Mike...he loves some deep fried goodness, haha.  I think it's safe to say he prefers his food that way and not his woman.

Oh, and if you're wondering how all of the sugar went over at school....the kids seemed to get an instant high because several were NOT listening to the teachers following snack.  However, I haven't had any issues (so far) with Alex today.

I finally got the Fall and Halloween decorations out.  Alex loved looking through them.  I told Mike we don't have as many as I thought and I must get some more.  I do mean that, but he doesn't agree.  I only put a few little things upstairs in the bonus room like some Halloween garland over the entertainment center and a couple of figures.  Alex walked up the stairs and said, "WOW!," in the most amazed voice.

Isn't a balloon endless fun...for all ages?  Alex and I had a good time swatting it back and forth for a while.  Gosh, I'm feeling a lot of love for this kid of mine today.
