Overheard at Our House

- When playing doctor, Alex tries to listen to my "heart beep."
- "He dooze that, she dooze that." (DOES)
- At 5:30 this morning just after crawling into our bed (and us hoping he would go right back to sleep), he yells (after touching his hair apparently),"Where's my spikes?" He got his hair cut yesterday morning and the lady spiked it a little with gel. Oh, and the reason he was up (and did not go back to sleep :-( at 5:30 am was because he fell asleep for good at 7:00 last night in the car on the way home from Indiana Beach.
- "Mom, I want to watch that video with that dad and his son. Mary Diener. The name for God." OH.....the video that I posted the other day about Team Holt. My Redeemer! Hahaha...actually, I think I know someone named Mary Diener!
- After I, somehow, broke a set of blinds when trying to open them this morning (sorry, Mike!), "Baby I can fix it with my tools." (MAYBE) He's going at them with his drill as I type.
