Look at that!
Do you see my March for Babies progress bar up above? I am up to $2,070 in donations, which is SO amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has donated. I am forever grateful (and so are all of the families you are helping with your donations). Can you believe I started out at a goal of $500 and just kept on raising it as your donations kept coming?! So exciting! The walk is next week and I am really looking forward to it. If you feel led to donate, you still have time!
So, our team has raised over $3,600 so far online, but is really over $4,000 total. I'll let you know the end result after the walk. So, several people on my team are helping me raise money by fundraising, but the majority of my team members are just donating to the cause and walking (which, in the March of Dimes fundraising event world is a little uncouth, but it's how we're doing it this time around!). So, can you guess how many people are on Team Lydia's Grace???? At last count, 65. Oh yeah. It's crazy! And that' s just adults (there will be plenty of the little ones tagging along). It's proven quite challenging to organize and manage (as I was originally anticipating just a small family team of close friends/family), but it gives me goosebumps to think of all of us walking together that day in memory of Lydia, James, Jake and in honor of ALL of our precious babies!!
To Him be the glory!!!

When God gets in the middle of something, He usually blows it out of the park. I seriouslycan't fathom 65 walkers plus kids- yahoo!!!
I know you've heard this 1000 times.. but thank you for allowing all of us to be a part of Lydia's legacy. We will forever remember her precious little life and how it has brought many closer to the Lord!
love ya, k

I wondered the same thing about your comment on Kara's blog... :) I can't WAIT to walk in honor of Lydia! It's going to be a great time, and I am SO proud of your fundraising! Way to go, lady! BTW - The words that I have to type in to prove that I'm not a spambot are "My intestinal". How odd is that?Emily - Tue April 15, 2008, 11:43 pm
Okay, sorry, me again. You left a comment on Kara's blog that makes me wonder something about you. It was about how tired Kara is today. You asked her a question and then said you were tired. I don't want to be nosey...so I'm not going to outright ask you. I'm just going to be subtly nosey. ????? Do you get what I'm not asking?:) E (Oh, and you really don't have to tell me. I honestly -- all joking aside -- mean that. I just have to ask.)

Oh, and thanks for being such a fabulous blog reader. I love your comments. :) EEmily - Tue April 15, 2008, 11:27 pm
Wow! 65 people! That is such a testament to how many lives Lydia has touched (and you and Mike have touched, as well). I am so inspired and awed at how you continue to remember your little girl in a way that honors so many others.I'm so glad you are my friend.
