A friend in need of your prayers!
I am SO sad right now and I hope all of you can help me lift up a beautiful friend and her family in prayers. My dear friend from high school, Beth, is 19 weeks pregnant with identical twin boys. She has thyroid and blood pressure issues and her doctors were concerned when some blood work came back with elevated levels. She went in to her OB's office today and they could not detect the babies' heartbeats. She is probably in labor delivering her babies as I write this. Beth was SO excited about having twins. I sob as I think about the shock and devastation she and her husband, Brian, are going through. You can read Beth's blog and story here. She could use any comforting words you can share in a situation like this--I know your words comforted me during my difficult time.
Beth is an AMAZING person and mother to her 5-year old daughter and 4-year old son (and the babies). Beth was there for me during my pregnancy in many ways. She drove 2 hours each way to capture beautiful pictures of our family while cherishing Lydia in my belly. She also came for Lydia's memorial service to help us remember that special day.
Beth, I will pray for you constantly...that God will carry you through this time and that you can lean on Him in your deep sorrow.
Here is a picture of me and Beth when she came down to take pictures of our family in early November. This was taken just shortly before she found out she was pregnant.

I actually found your site, through Beth's (which was a relatively new site to me). We lost one of our twins, our little Lydia, in May.
I'm so sorry about your Lydia - she has the most beautiful name!!

I have been reading her blog daily thanks to you and was also devastated to read the lastest entry. I will be praying for her, and I will be praying for you, too.

While I have never met Beth, I feel like I know her because of her blog. I cried at this news...I just don't even know what to say.
