Fabulous Friends
I have some awesome friends, really I do. Last night I took four close friends out to dinner at Olive Garden following our Women's Bible Study. I wanted to thank them for being there for me (and my family) in countless ways. They have been such a blessing to me. Words can never express how grateful I am for them. I tapped into my creative side (just kidding--I don't have one) to make some silly certificates for each of them as far as what kind of friend they are to me. I won't share each of their awards/titles, but the clip art on them were so cool (ha!), including mermaids, fairies, pegasus, and a wizard. I do wish I would have gotten pictures of them with their certificates and I know they do, too (yeah right!). We sure laughed a lot. When this picture was taken there were a lot of laughs about "sucking it in." I didn't know what they were talking about as anything that I know to suck in was below the table. Apparently neck fat can be sucked in to avoid the double chin? Hahaha.... From left: Jessica, me, Renay, Kristy, Lindsay.

I thought I'd include some pictures of Alex with a few of his friends. Here is a much younger friend, son of my best friend, Lara. Elliot is 16 months old and got quite cozy on Alex's lap. It was so cute!

Now I could not get ONE picture of these busy boys facing the camera, so this will have to do. This is Connor (Kristy's son) and Alex at the bowling alley...waiting anxiously for the ball to return. They had a great time bowling together. Alex often ran toward the lane and dropped his ball violently. He did slip and fall on the lane a couple of times...the bottoms of those colorful bowling shoes are awfully slick.

Alex loves playing with his friend, Preston. They played hard at the mall play area today (as evidenced by Alex's flushed cheeks). Gotta love friends!!

So thankful for the blessings God gives us! Continue to grab hold of those and savor each one. What can I say about Alex...you can see that you and Mike are loving parents by the joy he exerts. Much Love to the Family

I have to say that the little boy with the red hair is awfully cute! :) And I think it is evident by these pictures that Alex has more of a social life than I do. He is a social butterfly already!
