Santa Claus is in town
On Friday, we went to the Mishawaka Tree Lighting ceremony downtown. Santa came in on a fire truck (accompanied by Mayor Jeff Rea) and then kids visited with him inside the police station.
Then, on Saturday, met my parents at the South Bend Chocolate Cafe to have some hot chocolate and coffee. Santa was next door in a gingerbread house. They gave Alex a sticker and a coupon for a free chocolate bar at the cafe!

I remember my screaming days...I have many a student who is also STILL afraid of Santa (in kindergarten). This is the strangest thing to me. I mean, really, the man is in a soft red suit...he brings presents...and hands out candy canes when you go to see him. Still, even with soft clothes and free candy, children seem to scream scream scream!dave - Sat December 10, 2005, 3:13 pm
Nothing like seeing Santa makes you feel good all over. The pictures were really nice.Angela Schabloski - Wed December 7, 2005, 3:17 am
